Kyle Raymond Orton was born on November 14, 1982 in Altoona, Iowa. He is an American football quarterback for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the fourth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football at Purdue. According to a team source, Orton sits atop General Manager Jeff Ireland's wish list of quarterbacks he'd like to add to the Dolphins' roster. But another source said the seven-year veteran, who is owed $9 million in 2011, is seeking a multiyear contract extension that will pay him more than $6 million a year.
